Ipsy Bag Review

Hey Everybody! Hope your all doing lovely! So a few months ago I subscribed to website called Ipsy. I had heard about it through a friend and when I did a little research it looked like it would be right up my alley! It is a sample service that sends you five premium make up products every month in a cute makeup bag. The best part is that it is only $10 plus FREE SHIPPING!! So as someone who is constantly trying new makeup products, this seemed perfect for me!

Ill be honest, I was a little wary after a few weeks because I was charged for my July bag and never got it. It took a few emails back and forth with their customer service, but eventually I was sent a replacement for July and I just got my August bag last week! I was soooooooo excited to see what was in it! It is definitely worth the $10! Every month has a theme, and you get to try so many different products from high end companies.

In my bag this month I got the following items:

Costal Scents Eyeshadow Pallete- This was the only product in my bag I wasn't over the moon about. I hardly wear eyeshadow and when I do its very neutral colors. I liked the pink and white shadows but I am not sure if I will ever use the green and purple!

Jersey Shore Sun Lip Conditioner- HOLY SMOKES PEOPLE... this is the best chapstick I have ever used. I don't usually like wearing lipgloss, so I always wear chapstick and I buy so many trying to find a good one and my search is over! Its so moisturizing and smells great. I use it throughout the day but also load it on at night and when I wake up my lips feel amazing. I would definitely recommend it!

Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk- My hair is fairly oily so its not very often I go a day without washing it, but I really liked this dry shampoo. I had used Dove before and didn't like it. It left white residue on my hair behind. This stuff doesn't at all and it smells amazing! I have used it a few days where I have woke up late... hehe!

Manna Kadar Cosmetics Sheer Glo- I am still trying to figure out the best way to use this product, but I really like it! It is a sheer lotion/gel that you can mix with lotion or foundation to give you a little sparkly glow! I used it as a highlighter on my cheeks and it was very pretty!

Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner- I am a huge fan of anything Urban Decay comes out with and this eyeliner was no exception! I got the color Plushie, which is a purple color, and it looks so pretty with my green eyes. I always tight line my eyes and this goes on so smoothly and stays on all day. I haven't have to reapply anytime I wear it! I would recommend this product to everyone!

I hope you guys enjoyed the post and hopefully found a new product to try! Let me know if you guys have any questions about Ipsy, or if your interested you can go to the link below.

Dazed and Confused

Welcome to Daydreams and Sunflowers everybody! Clearly I am not sure what I am doing on here, as I already created this "introduction post" earlier today and somehow I deleted it! I have wanted to do a blog for a long time but have never been sure of what to write about and really, how to do it. Clearly I am still a little confused! So much for being a tech savvy teen eh?

Well, for those of you who don't know me, I am Tyler. I am 19 years old and I live in Utah! I am in college and I attend Weber State University. Go Wildcats! I am studying to become a paramedic, and hopefully I will be done in the new few years! I work at a software engineering company owned by my family. I have worked there for about 5 years now. Its not my dream job, but its a fun place to work and has been a great job to get me through high school and college.

I am in love with fashion, beauty, cooking, and diy projects. I work with an office full of girls and between all of us we are always trying new products and doing a little shopping… or a lot of shopping! We work too, don't get me wrong, but working as much fun right? I also have the most talented and "craftiest" (if thats even a word) mother in the world! Any craft you can conjure up in your pretty little mind, she can bring it to life. I am no where near being able to do the things my mom does, but hopefully one day! I hope on here I can share with you some of my favorite products, meals, projects and much more! Like I said, I am new at this, so any comments or suggestions would be awesome!

Thanks everyone!!
